Constructed of zink, the obverse consisting of a triangle topped by a National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) insignia flanked by a date of 1939, interspersed with edelweiss, with a pair of skis laid across diagonally, in turn bearing an inscription of MOTOR GRUPPE ALPENLAND 1. SEIGER MANNSCHAFTSLAUF B. (MOTOR GROUP ALPENLAND 1ST PLACE TEAM RACE), with a red highlighted inscription of WINTERSPORTKMPFE (WINTER SPORTS
