An Officer’s Dress Dagger, With Hanger, By Carl Eickhorn consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Zweite Stufe” embossed in black(Heer Offizersdolch mit Anhnger). A very well preserved Heer Officers dagger, measuring 40 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 26 cm long nickel plated magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and edges. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of ORIGINAL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic logo of a squirrel clutching a sword.
