A round gilded brass officers buckle, the obverse illustrates a Gothic letter W surmounted by the Imperial crown, affixed to the buckle by three prongs, and surrounded by an open ended wreath of laurel leaves, the reverse shows a welded hook and keeper bar, measures 47. 18 mm in diameter, a brass receiving clip with dual prongs on the reverse at the other end of the belt, the belt is fabricated from a silver sash with black and red stripes
