A 1938 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Silver Grade, By Gustav Brehmer consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac becoming a platoon leader(Ehrenzeichen Gausieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1938). Constructed of silvered tombak with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled disc set within a circular laurel leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel topped by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of GAUSIEGER 1938, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked G.
