Buddha sits atop a decorated lotus throne with a serene expression and meditative downcast eyes. As with early Rattanakosin castings, he has an ushnisha, a protuberance symbolising enlightenment & enthronement. This became less common in later Rattanakosin castings when crowns became more common. This came with influence from Europe
