Calcite phosphate and Bolivia has arguably producedA gorgeous and aesthetic display specimen featuring notably lustrous, well formed, complex modified scalenohedral crystals with a translucent quality ranging from white to colorless in areas. The specimen grew in a stalactitic formation, with a central "core" upon which the Calcites grew. This historic copper mining district is best known for its beautiful Azurite and Malachite specimens, but the Calcites stand out as some of the best from Arizona.
