REF-05 -Johnson's Royal Regiment of New York (2 pcs) Papau New Guinea taking an early part inThe King's Royal Regiment of New York (KRRNY), also famously known as Johnsons Royal Greens or the Royal Yorkers, was a prominent provincial Loyalist unit raised during the American Revolutionary War. Formed in 1776 by Sir John Johnson, the regiment was largely composed of Loyalist refugees from the Mohawk Valley who fled to Canada after facing persecution from Patriot authorities.
