Drawing from my background in graphic design, I explore abstraction by manipulating shapes and colors from the original image. For this particular piece, the focus is on the painted elements. I created a small abstract painting, inspired by the photograph, which forms the centerpiece of the composition. The shape in the middle is an abstraction of the spikes on the house's railing.
